I also messed around with voice commands through Google Assistant, but half the time it didn’t pick up what I said or just opened the wrong app. I even tried relying on my Fire Stick remote through HDMI-CEC, but it felt clunky and didn’t give me full control. What actually solved the problem for me was downloading the Hisense RemoteNOW app on my phone—once I connected it to the same Wi-Fi, it basically turned my phone into a full remote, and I could finally change channels, adjust volume, and even type in searches without leaving the couch.</p>]]></content:encoded>
